Well hello and welcome to all those who will be joining me along this Amazing Race that is my life.  My friends call me Hope.  I am a husband, a musician, audio-visual engineer, marketer, and renewable energy  enthusiast among other things.  Most important though, I am loved by God (as are you).  God hand crafted me with many abilities, talents and learned skills.  I honestly feel pretty average and not particularly great at any one thing, but I recognize that these traits help me relate to many kinds of people.

I come from a big family and as a big brother, I have always deeply cared for the next generation.  I love seeing young people on their journey to finding their thing, their passion, their purpose.  In fact, I hope to one day open up a center for dreams.  A place where visions are born, cultivated, and activated.

Most of us know the when, where, how, and who birthed you, but only God can reveal the why.

My purpose is to help people realize, cultivate, and activate their visions. You too were uniquely hand crafted by God, and he has a great purpose for your life.

If that is the finish line, just like the show Amazing Race, the roadmap provided only leads to the next checkpoint where a new challenge awaits.  On this blog, I will checkin with entries stemming from the many experiences I encounter while using my abilities, talents and acquired skills along my way to the finish line.

While the checkpoint style race can be frustrating at times, this is one of God’s signature processes.  The wonderful thing about this race is that has been championed by Jesus, and pioneered by the likes of Noah, Joseph, Moses, Nehemiah, David, and others. The solutions I present to you may not be a one size fits all, but I do hope to provide practical principles from these examples in the bible that anyone can apply.  Feel free to comment, ask questions, or ride along in the passenger seat as I go for the finish line of this Amazing Race.
